The Community Association, supported by the Parish Council, is committed to building a community where its residents are caring towards each other and their neighbours in particular.
To achieve this and to build on the several very good examples that already exist through Residents’ Associations and Neighbourhood Watch Groups, the focus is on extending the Neighbourhood Watch network throughout the village.
Neighbourhood Watch is not just about helping the police in keeping an eye out for
possible criminal activity but includes neighbours helping each other and particularly
those who are disadvantaged, vulnerable and lonely. This is increasingly important
when there are so many scams and online threats.
Little Chalfont is more at risk than most villages and towns in Buckinghamshire and working together, we can materially reduce the risks and threats. Please spend a few minutes watching the presentation that briefly sets out why this initiative is needed.
